A layer of ice covers all in this land of snow, ice, and frost.  The wind whips through the base of the trees, which creates a mist of snow that seems to flow around and over all of the tree roots.  The ice and snow has gripped all the branches in its fierce embrace.  No footprints mar the surface of this almost alien landscape in its beauty.  The trees stand in high contrast against the iron gray winter sky.
