“Spiral in the Sand” is a black and white shot of sand on location at Tybee Island’s beach, where wisps of foliage from a sand dune curls and lies casually whilst basking in the sun. One particularly interesting coil in the center is the focal point in the picture, sitting upon an indentation in the sand.  Perhaps a footprint?  Other thin shafts of plants emerge from unknown sources, and they, along with their shadows, produce interesting patterns of dark and light.
