Blue irises are one of my favorite flowers to capture.  Not only does the flower have many fold and interests but i have been around them all my life.  All the iris images you will find in my portfolio are ones I personally grow.  The bulbs came from my mother and the garden i grew up playing in.  As I started learning photography, this was my first subject and the way I capture floral shots has been defined and sculpted by this one flower.
