Tybee Island Lighthouse stands tall and majestic off the coast of Georgia. It looks a little lonely in the early morning light, but continues to shine despite the gray sky crowding around it. The sea oats seem to want to compete with the height of the lighthouse, a ridiculous but noble venture, a daily quest to rise above. The waves lick at the shore, birds dot the coastline, and the lighthouse shoots out of the wet sand. Which came first?
